1.Cross-country skiing track in Nature park "Ogres Zilie kalni"

The 12 km track has been set up and well maintained for snow and frost conditions, and connects the towns of Ikšķile and Ogre. A 7 km section of the track features lighting –  this makes the track usable even after sundown. The lights are kept active from October until the middle of March. They are turned on at twilight, and kept on until 10 pm. The relief of the nature park allows for slopes of various difficulty with beautiful sights. The track often hosts competitions. During the winter season there are equipment rentals on offer for both children and adults willing to ski.
