Recreation and play area in Vidus prospekts

^{The recreation and play area is a gift from the municipality to Ogre residents on the city's 90th birthday and Latvia's 100th anniversary. In honour of the national celebration, 100 differently coloured rhododendrons were planted here. The play area is constructed of environmentally friendly elements and fits well with its surroundings. This area is divided into various zones with the appropriate equipment, including swings, climbing structures, a multi-functional device for street gymnastics and outdoor fitness equipment. The recreational area is well lit and has gravel walkways, information stands, benches and specially designed benches on which you can lie down and watch the skies.}
