Suntaži Evangelic Lutheran Church

Address Suntaži parish, Ogre municipality

The church was built in 1780–1782, following the design of the architect Christoph Haberland, and was reconstructed in 1874. The church houses one of the largest bells of all rural Lutheran churches in Latvia. It weighs 1.4 tons and has the inscription As you draw closer to God, he will draw closer to you on its side. The church is an architectural monument of national importance.
