Mound of Slaidēnu castle

Slaidēni castle mound is located on the left bank of the Daugava - an archeological monument of national significance, the protection zone of which extends into the restricted area. The history of the mound dates back to the 1st century BC. A memorial made by V. Titāns is installed next to it. This object  is located on the land of a private owner, freely accessible only from the side of Daugava.
