Ikšķile memorial stone

Installed in October 1988 on the Daugava River bank opposite the ruins of the old Ikšķile church. The Ikšķile group of the Cultural Foundation of Latvia unveiled the memorial stone where the name of Ikšķile is etched in three languages – Latin, German, and Latvian.
