Museum Sudraba Edžus’s Local History "3 rooms" in Meņģele

^{Meņģele civil parish is the birthplace of writer Sudrabu Edžus (1860–1941, real name Eduards Morics Zilbers). Many characters in his literary works had their prototypes in this area. In the centre of Meņģele, you will find a monument to Sudrabu Edžus made in 1984 by sculptor Vilnis Titāns. The building of the former kindergarten houses an exhibition dedicated to the writer and the local history of Meņģele. The antiquities collected from the homes of Meņģele residents are on display.
