Nature Park “Ogres ieleja” (The Ogre Valley)

^{The territory received the status of a national nature park in 2004. Its area covers 7515.7 ha and is located in the municipal territories of Madona and Ogre. The nature park The Ogre Valley is included in the network of European nature protection areas „Natura 2000”.}

^{The park has such treasures as the unregulated Ogre River, its valley with splendid riverbank surroundings, diverse forests, vast meadows, river rapids, steep banks, springs, secular stones and heritage trees. The valley has been inhabited since olden times, and many historical sites have survived to this day. The territory of the nature park holds 21 nationally protected cultural monuments and 22 history-related cultural sites.}
