Ogre Dolomite Outcrops

^{The Ogre dolomite outcrops are a protected natural monument. From the geological point of view, it is a unique natural object where the remains of various ancient marine invertebrates and fossil fish have been found. Although the outcrop is 4 metres high, only about 2 of them are exposed to the view, which is obstructed by the elevated water level caused by the Ogre HPP. The strip of outcrops is 250 meters long, but the total area of the natural monument reaches 3.19 ha.}
