Ķegums Nature Trail and Viewing Terrace

^{Stretching nearly one kilometre, this nature trail begins at the Ķegums viewing platform on the right bank of the Daugava River, along the Smilšu and Daugavgrīvas Streets. The trail features educational stands detailing the construction, expansion and modernisation of the Ķegums HPP, the first hydroelectric power plant on the Daugava River, as well as about the structure of the power plant, its operating principles and how environmentally friendly energy is produced these days. A unique photo bench, which rotates like a carousel, is installed in the recreation area set up on the viewing terrace.}
