Ņega river recreation place

Nega  located by the Nega river, also called Melderupe. Spring water is used as drinking water by people from our municipality and the surrounding areas. By the Nega spring and the river is a beautiful place for active recreation, where it is possible to go fishing, go on a picnic, easily let the boat into the river. Nearby you will find the ruins of World War II fortifications, the remains of Priedesmuiža buildings (now the houses of “Krumini”, private property), “Tiltsargi” - houses with historical memories that survived both World Wars.
